The short version: Inside Farming's main pages use no tracking cookies. Our WordPress blog uses a session cookie for admin users only. We use Google Fonts which may set a cookie. That's it.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.

Cookies we do NOT use

- Any cookie that tracks you across websites
Third-party cookies
When you click links to external websites (farm experience providers, job boards, WordPress blog posts), those websites may set their own cookies. We have no control over third-party cookies. Please refer to the relevant website's cookie policy.
Google Fonts
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may log your IP address when serving font files. This is a standard web practice. You can read Google's privacy policy here. We are considering self-hosting our fonts in a future update to eliminate this entirely.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting cookies will not affect your experience on Inside Farming's main pages (since we set none), but may affect your ability to stay logged into the WordPress admin.
GDPR and UK PECR
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we are required to inform you about cookies and obtain consent for non-essential cookies. Since Inside Farming only uses essential and technical cookies (and none for tracking or advertising), a cookie consent banner is not required. We will review this policy if we introduce any analytics or marketing tools in future.
