Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

The short version: We collect minimal data, we don't sell it, and we only use it to run Inside Farming. If you signed up to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe any time. If you want your data deleted, just ask.

Who we are

Inside Farming is an independent UK-based digital platform. Our website is at insidefarming.co.uk. You can contact us at hello@insidefarming.co.uk.

What data we collect and why

Newsletter subscribers

If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this to send you the Inside Farming newsletter. We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) to manage our mailing list and send emails. Your email address is stored on Brevo's servers. You can view Brevo's privacy policy here.

The legal basis for processing your email address is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing hello@insidefarming.co.uk.

Contact form submissions

If you use our contact form, your message is sent directly to our email inbox via your email client. We do not store contact form submissions in any database.

Website analytics

We do not currently use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts. We may use server-level access logs provided by our hosting provider (NixiHost) for security and performance purposes. These logs may include IP addresses but are not used for marketing or profiling.

WordPress blog

Our blog at insidefarming.co.uk/blog is powered by WordPress, which sets session cookies for logged-in users (admin only). Visitors who do not log in are not tracked by WordPress cookies.

Cloudflare

Our job search feature uses a Cloudflare Worker proxy. Cloudflare may process request data (including IP addresses) as part of their service. You can view Cloudflare's privacy policy here.

Redirect logging

We use the Redirection plugin on our WordPress installation to manage URL redirects and monitor 404 errors. We log redirect and 404 URLs to understand broken links on our site. We do not log IP addresses in our redirect logs.

Cookies

Inside Farming's main website pages do not set any tracking cookies. Our WordPress blog sets a session cookie for admin users only. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
